The World in 1092 BC the map has looked like this since 1100 BC

The last Mycenaean colour leaves the map this year. The palaces burned a century ago, and the people who stayed on at Mycenae and Tiryns have now drifted away to smaller places; Greece enters its Dark Age of villages, iron tools and no writing, which will last until the alphabet arrives about three hundred years later. Elsewhere the old powers hold on. Tiglath-Pileser I of Assyria still rules and fights Marduk-nadin-ahhe of Babylon over the border towns, taking Babylon itself for a moment. Egypt under Ramesses XI is split in practice between the general Herihor, who runs Thebes as high priest of Amun, and Smendes in the north. The Phrygians hold Anatolia and the Philistines the coast, where the Israelite tribes in the hills are fighting them. The Shang king Di Xin rules at Anyang while the Zhou gather in the west. The Olmecs and the Indo-Aryans keep their patches.
