The Rosetta probe chased its comet for ten years and about 4 billion miles. In November it dropped a small lander onto the ice, the first landing on a comet. That flight was like going from Earth to the Sun and back more than 20 times.
Life back then

Frozen's Let It Go played everywhere, whether parents liked it or not. Flappy Bird, made by one programmer in Vietnam, got so addictive that he deleted it in February. The Serial podcast had millions hooked on a true story told week by week. And all summer, friends dared each other to dump ice water on their heads for the Ice Bucket Challenge, raising over 100 million dollars for ALS research.
