The World in 1994 the year trains ran under the sea

The whole World Wide Web held about 10,000 sites at the end of 1994. A sold-out NBA arena holds almost twice that many people.

Life back then

Television still gathered everyone at once. In June about 95 million Americans watched police trail O. J. Simpson's white Bronco down a Los Angeles freeway.
