Life back then

Television still gathered everyone at once. In June about 95 million Americans watched police trail O. J. Simpson's white Bronco down a Los Angeles freeway. Kids wore out their Lion King soundtrack, and Power Rangers took over toy aisles. In Britain, Oasis and Blur set off the Britpop argument that filled music magazines for years. In December a new browser called Netscape Navigator came out, and for millions of people it soon became the front door to the web.
